What are the three reverse modes?
Characters mirrors the whole string (hello → olleh). Words keeps each word intact but reverses their order (one two → two one). Lines flips the order of lines — handy for inverting any pasted list.
Does character reverse handle emoji?
Yes — it reverses by full character, not by byte, so emoji and accented letters survive instead of corrupting (the bug in naive implementations).
What's reversing actually used for?
Reversing lists (lines mode is the practical one), checking palindromes, puzzle-making, and the occasional social media gimmick. Not every tool needs a noble purpose.
